Jim Scott is an Iowa District Judge from rural Carmel, IA, where he farms, makes furniture, and trains for triathlons. He and his wife, Colette, have two daughters, Lona Kouri, a dentist in Des Moines, and Jackie, an 8th grader at Sioux Center Middle School. Their son-in-law, Zach Kouri, is also a Des Moines dentist.
