About Dr. Tintle

I grew up in New York and attended Boston University, University at Albany (BS) and Stony Brook University (MS and PhD). I married my wife Lisa, originally from Iowa, in July 2004. Lisa and I moved to Michigan from New Jersey in summer 2005 when I started a position at Hope College. We had our first child, Dorian, in October 2006 and our second child, Levi, in June 2008. In summer 2011 we moved from Michigan to Iowa, where I started a position at Dordt College. We are enjoying this busy time in our lives as we raise our two boys. In our free time Lisa and I both enjoy outdoor activities like boating, canoeing, and hiking.
