Investigative Report

     This writing project involved learning the nature of business and technical writing in our future profession, discovering how to plan, conduct, and present primary and secondary-source research, and writing a clear, concise report based on the findings.  I am pursuing a veterinary medicine career, so I interviewed a retired veterinarian, Dr. Sick, who writes an article for the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA), which is a monthly newsletter.  I presented my findings in a handout.

     This writing project involved writing collaboratively; conducting research into the relationships of audiences, usability, and document design; and composing professional documents by applying principles of effective, ethical professional communication.  The document created is an Industry Evaluation for Defender Capital Management Model.  We worked collaboratively to put together information that will aid the Defender Capital Management Club to select certain stocks.
