Welcome to my Website!

About Me
I am an assistant professor of mathematics at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, USA. Prior to this position, I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, studying mathematics. In May of 2007, I graduated from the University of South Dakota with my B.S. in mathematics and physics.

My CV can be found here.

I am teaching Calculus I, Discrete Structures, and Computational Algebra in Spring 2015. Course materials can be found on Canvas.

My current schedule can be found here.

I am primarily interested in properties of ideals generated by forms vanishing on low-dimensional subschemes of PN. Broadly speaking, my work falls on the commutative algebra side of the interaction between commutative algebra and algebraic geometry.
