Dordt Community Participates in STAND UP event
On Wednesday October 17 at 5 PM, 159 member of the campus came together to STAND UP against poverty. One professor and three students prayed for the poor. After the prayers, a student read a pledge which called upon governments around the world to work to end poverty.  Then, the group stood up as a whole and cheered. The ceremonies concluded with singing the Doxology and then a closing prayer. KMEG news was there to cover the event as well as The N'West Iowa Review Newspaper.
