Biodiesel Project Summary

During last summer and this summer, I have been researching biodiesel production using sulfonated charcoal as a solid acid catalysis. To the right, you can view a project summary that was prepared by my faculty sponsor, Dr. Carl Fictorie.

 

Cadherins and their role
in cancer metastasis

 

This paper was prepared for Dr. James Mahaffy's Cell Biology class during the 2008 Fall Semester (my junior year). It addresses the role that cadherins have in the development of cancerous cells, specifically how these cells become metastatic and begin to spread throughout the rest of the body.
Newton Hills Forest Compostion Lab Report For Principles of Ecology and Field Biology, a sophomore level biology course taught by Dr. Rob De Haan , Cory Warden and I prepared this lab report concerning the forest composition of two different sides of the same hill in Newton Hills State Park. The objective of this lab was to visualize the differences in tree type, size, and density of the North and South facing slopes of a hill.
