About Me
| I am
Junior biology major at Dordt College, and I am planning on pursuing a
career as a medical doctor after graduation. If you want to better
understand my desire to enter medicine, you can read my
personal statement and an
essay I wrote for Christian Rhetoric and Scholarship defining the
aspects of being a doctor. Currently, I am involved in the Track and
Cross Country teams as well as the Student-body President of Student
Symposium, our on-campus student government. I enjoy running a great deal, particularly in areas with beautiful scenery. The most recent of these areas include the Gatlin Valley of Montana, the bluffs near La Crosse Wisconsin, the Gulf of Mexico near Panama City, and the corn fields of Northern Iowa. In my leisure time, there is nothing better than spending time out on a lake in my family's little 65-horsepower Forester speedboat. Below you can see a few pictures of me in these various activities. |
